Hi, I’m Rene, and I can’t wait to create your next tattoo!I’m based in Denver, CO at Feral Forever Tattoos, and I share my work online as Rene La Fae.

I’ve been passionate about art my whole life. I primarily worked in watercolor, soft pastel, oil paint, and charcoal. I graduated with a degree in fine art and philosophy at Red Rocks Community College and continued my artistic journey at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. 

 

Before tattooing, my career was primarily in graphic design and marketing. For me, creativity, collaboration, and community have always been at the heart of what I do but I found that it wasn’t the best fit for me.

I’ve always dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist, and I’m so grateful that I made the transition into this craft. Devoting myself fully to tattooing has been the most rewarding path because it allows me to combine my lifelong love of art with the chance to create something lasting and meaningful for each client. 

​

My favorite styles are neo-traditional, American traditional, and illustrative tattoos. My art is inspired by classical art, mythology, occult, and pop culture. Every tattoo is a collaboration, and I strive to make each client feel comfortable, confident and welcome throughout the process.

Outside of the studio, I live with my husband and three cats. I love video games, books, anime, movies, and karaoke nights. I’m also a big fan of plants, with over 40 in my apartment. I also love the Renaissance fair!
