Here, you will find guidance on pricing, session preparation, bringing guests, and other important details about getting tattooed in my studio. My goal is to provide clear, honest information so you can focus on the experience and feel confident from the moment you book your appointment.

Booking & Appointments
How do I book a tattoo? All appointments are requested through the booking form on my website, via Venue. Please include size, placement, reference images, and any notes about your idea so I can give you the best possible quote. Please review my portfolio before booking to ensure my style is a good fit for your vision.
Do you require a deposit? Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit goes toward your final tattoo cost and secures my drawing time. Deposits are non-refundable, including for creative differences, and cannot be transferred to another person or appointment.
How far in advance do you book? My books are always open! Depending on availability I can usually get a new request in within 1-3 months.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment? Reschedules are accepted with adequate notice. You must provide at least 48 hours notice to reschedule. If you do need to reschedule, your deposit can roll over to secure a new date one time. Late cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the deposit and require a new one to rebook. Late cancellations or no-shows will forfeit your deposit. If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, your deposit may be forfeited at my discretion.

Tattoo Designs
Do you offer custom tattoos or predawn designs? I offer both custom and predrawn flash designs! Most of my predrawn flash pieces are not repeated, but you’re welcome to request small tweaks like changing a design from color to black and grey or adjusting the palette. If you’re hoping for bigger changes, we can turn it into a custom piece created just for you. And if a flash design you loved has already been claimed, you can always request something similar at the same price point. I would be so excited to make it happen for you.
When will I see my design? Designs are typically shown the day of your appointment, and we can make minor adjustments during the stencil stage. If we schedule a consultation beforehand, we’ll collaborate on a rough sketch together to make sure I’m fully aligned with your vision and expectations. During the consultation, we’ll refine the design, placement, style, and size so everything aligns perfectly when it’s time to tattoo. On the day of your appointment, I always allow extra time for small tweaks, but larger changes require additional design time. If you need significant revisions and haven’t communicated that at least 72 hours in advance, we will need to rebook your appointment so I can give your design the attention it deserves.
Do you take cover-ups? Cover-ups are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please include clear, well-lit photos of your existing tattoo with your submission. If I determine that I am not the best fit for your specific cover-up, I will happily refer you to an artist I trust so that you can get the best possible tattoo for your design and placement.
What about large or detailed projects? If you’re dreaming up something large, detailed, or layered in meaning, a complimentary consultation is highly recommended. We’ll discuss placement, style, size, and the overall flow to ensure your tattoo feels intentional and aligned with your vision.
Do you tattoo hands, necks, or faces? These placements are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Pricing & Payment
How much do tattoos cost? Consultations are always complimentary. Tattoo pricing can vary widely depending on size, detail, placement, and other factors. There are simply too many variables to give an exact estimate upfront. I usually provide pricing per piece during a consultation, often giving a range to accommodate adjustments for sizing or complexity on the day of your session. I work with all budgets, and tattoos can be broken into multiple sessions. Linework, shading, and color can each be scheduled separately if needed. For cover-ups, since many factors come into play, I price hourly based on actual tattoo time. Because skin integrity can vary, I cannot predict exactly how many sessions a piece will require. My hourly rate is $100, but I do not provide fixed prices for cover up work. Current flash designs, sizes, and rates are available in the venue for those looking for something ready to go and to provide a ballpark of my current pricing.
What forms of payment do you accept? I accept cash, as well as digital payment options, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal. Full payment is due the day of the appointment. If is broken up into multiple sessions, at that time it would be the full amount for that particular session.

Studio & Session Etiquette
Where do you tattoo? I work out of Feral Forever Tattoo in Denver, Colorado, a private, appointment-based studio designed for comfort and focus.
How to Prepare for Your Tattoo Session Getting ready for your tattoo can make the experience smoother, more comfortable, and more enjoyable. Here is a guide for first-time clients 1. Rest and Hydrate Get a good night’s sleep before your session. Being well-rested helps your body handle the tattoo process. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session, as hydrated skin takes ink more effectively 2. Eat a Good Meal Have a balanced meal before your appointment. Low blood sugar can make you lightheaded or dizzy, so do not come hungry 3. Arrive Sober Avoid alcohol, cannabis, or recreational drugs. These can thin your blood and make the tattooing process more difficult or increase bleeding 4. Take Care of Your Skin Avoid sunburn or tanning in the area being tattooed. Do not come in with damaged skin. Moisturize in the days leading up to your tattoo, but avoid applying lotion right before your session 5. Avoid Medications That Affect Healing Do not get tattooed while taking antibiotics, as they can affect your body’s healing response and increase the risk of infection. If you are on any other medications or have medical concerns, discuss them with me before your session 6. Know Your Allergies It is essential that I know about every allergy you have. This ensures I do not use any products, inks, or materials that could cause a reaction. Full disclosure is necessary for your safety 7. Wear Comfortable Clothing Wear clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed and that you do not mind getting ink on. Comfort is especially important for longer sessions 8. Mental Preparation Be kind, grounded, and ready to sit with intention. Bring comfort items, snacks, water, or anything else that helps you stay comfortable during your session. Some clients find talking helps them relax, while others prefer to get into their own zone. I am absolutely fine with either approach, just let me know which you prefer so I can be as accommodating as possible 9. Communicate If you have medical conditions, allergies, or questions about your design, talk to me before or at the beginning of your session. Clear communication ensures a smoother experience
Can I Bring a Guest? You are welcome to bring a guest, but please be mindful that we have a small, shared studio. When the studio is full, guests may need to wait in the waiting area while you are getting tattooed to ensure each artist has enough space to work safely and comfortably. Guests must be respectful of the studio, the artists, and other clients. If a guest is disruptive or disrespectful, I reserve the right to ask them to leave. Please let me know ahead of time if you plan to bring someone so we can accommodate them as best as possible.
Do you have a zero-tolerance policy? Yes. I maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or any disruptive behavior in the studio. Respect for yourself, others, and the space is mandatory at all times. This includes how you speak to the artist, staff, other clients, and any guests you bring. Any behavior that threatens the safety or comfort of others will not be tolerated. If someone engages in inappropriate conduct, they may be asked to leave immediately, and future appointments may be canceled without refund. My studio is a safe and inclusive space for everyone, and this policy ensures that every client can feel comfortable and respected during their tattoo experience.

Aftercare and Healing
Aftercare and Healing What aftercare instructions do you provide? I will walk you through personalized aftercare at your appointment. Here are detailed guidelines for both traditional healing and using a clear adhesive bandage such as Tagaderm. 1. Keep the Area Clean Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel. Do not rub. 2. Avoid Soaking and Sun Exposure Do not submerge your tattoo in pools, hot tubs, or bodies of water while it is healing. Avoid saunas and direct sun exposure, as UV rays can damage your tattoo and affect color retention. 3. Protect Your Tattoo from External Contaminants Keep the tattoo out of pet hair and other debris. Sleep in clean clothes and on clean bed sheets. Wear loose-fitting clothing to avoid friction on the fresh tattoo. 4. Do Not Pick or Scratch Do not pick, scratch, or peel your tattoo while it is healing. Interfering with scabs or flakes can damage the tattoo, increase irritation, and raise the risk of infection. Traditional Healing During traditional healing, I may use a variety of protective bandages to keep the tattoo safe. At your appointment, I will let you know when it is time to start your first wash. Use an antibacterial, fragrance-free liquid soap such as Gold Dial or unscented Castile soap. Wash the tattoo 2 to 3 times a day and pat dry with a clean paper towel. Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor 2 to 3 times a day. Too much Aquaphor is not beneficial as air exposure is important for proper healing. Excess moisture can increase irritation, keep the wound open longer, and make it more susceptible to infection. Use only a small amount, about the size of a pea or less, for the first five days. After this, transition to an unscented lotion until all visible signs of healing, such as flakiness, have resolved. Tagaderm or the Clear Adhesive Bandage Keep the film on for 3 to 5 days. Popular brands include SandiDerm and Recovery Second Skin. If the film leaks or you notice redness around it, remove it immediately. A leak can allow contaminants to get under the film, which is why it is important to take it off at that time. The film is waterproof but not meant for full submersion. You can shower with it on, but be careful to avoid excessive running water directly on the bandage. When removing the film, do so gently in the shower to help the adhesive loosen and use gentle pulling motions. Do not rip it off like a bandage, as this can damage your tattoo. If the film stays on for the full 3 to 5 days without issues, you can usually skip the Aquaphor stage and move directly to washing and applying unscented lotion following traditional aftercare instructions. Monitoring and Guidance Healing can vary based on your skin type, tattoo placement, and overall health. If you notice unusual redness, swelling, excessive scabbing, or any other concerns during the healing process, please contact me immediately. I am happy to offer guidance and ensure your tattoo heals safely and beautifully. Proper aftercare is essential to maintain the quality and longevity of your tattoo, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
Do you offer touch-ups? Yes. I provide free touch-ups within the first year if your tattoo does not heal as expected. This ensures your tattoo looks its best and allows for minor adjustments that may be needed during the healing process. After the first year, smaller touch-ups require a setup fee. In some cases, if a healed tattoo needs significant work due to injury or other factors that occurred after the original appointment, the touch-up may be priced hourly to account for the additional work required. Touch-ups are meant to maintain the quality of your tattoo but cannot be used to completely redo a tattoo that has been affected by poor aftercare, sun exposure, or other external factors outside of normal healing.

Artwork and Ownership
Who owns the tattoo design? All artwork remains my creative property until your tattoo is completed and paid in full. Designs may not be taken to another artist without permission. The deposit does not entitle clients to the design if they choose not to go forward with the tattoo appointment.
Do you sell prints or artwork? I am currently creating new merchandise and prints, so they will be available soon. Updates will be posted on Instagram as new items are ready. In the meantime, I usually have free stickers available at the shop for clients and visitors.
